THE 2019 GRAND SLAM WORLD SERIES OF BASEBALL IV

Presented by Captain Jacks Family Restaurant

***  There is a good chance that the lights at the new PCB Sports Complex will NOT be operational next week, thus we have had to adjust schedules to make sure we do not have any games scheduled past 4:00 PM.  We had to separate the 16's & 18's to make this happen.  Sorry for the confusion.  Please check your schedules.

MAKE SURE YOU HAVE YOUR ROSTER ONLINE!

July 22-28, 2019, Frank Brown Park, 16200 Panama City Beach Parkway, Panama City Beach, Florida & The Panama City Beach Sports Complex, Chip Seal Parkway, Panama City Beach, Florida.

*** Please see some of the rules for the NEW PCB SPORTS COMPLEX below.

PLEASE CHECK THE DOCUMENTS TAB ON THE EVENT PAGE FOR WORLD SERIES SESSION IV

REMEMBER, ECONOMIC IMPACT forms are MANDATORY and must be filled out completely prior to participating in this event.  ALSO, ALL TEAM PRE-ORDER FORMS FOR WORLD SERIES MERCHANDISE is due Wednesday, July 17.  BOTH of these forms are under the DOCUMENTS TAB on the home page of the event on our website.  You can also find flyers promoting the Cobra & Emerald Falls Amusement Park Special Offer.  !

Please use the following as a check list to make sure you have everything in order prior to arrival in Panama City Beach on Sunday, July 21, 2019!

The 8U, 9U, 10U, 11U & 12U age divisions will be played at Frank Brown Park and the 13U, 14U, 15U, 16U & 18U age divisions will be played at the NEW PCB Sports Complex.  13U plays 54/80; 14U-18U plays 60/90 and ALL 14U-18U teams must swing -3 bats.

UPDATED >>  We are combining the 9U & 10U age divions; the 11U & 12U age divisions & the 14U & 15U age divisions. We had to go back and separate the 16's & 18's to make sure we had no games scheduled past 4:00 PM due to the possibility of the lights not being fully operational.  This will allow for larger brackets after pool play in the age divisions where we are combined.  In pool play where age groups are combined, you will play 2-pool games vs teams from your same age division.  The Top-3 highest finishing teams in each age division in combined brackets will be awarded trophies and/or rings and/or championship banners based on order of finish.

*  Pool Play schedules for ALL age divisions have been posted as of Saturday, July 13th at 10:45 AM (CT).   PLEASE check these schedules often prior to arrival for any changes that may have to be made.  If we have a minimum of 3-teams in an age division, WE WILL PLAY.  if we don't, the team(s) are allowed to play up if they so choose.

*  ANY FEES, entry or team gate fees, must be paid at the Coaches meetings in cash or credit card.  The deadline for online payments has passed.  NO CHECKS accepted, NO exceptions.

Remember, your Economic Impact Form is MANDATORY and must be filled out in its entirety prior to your first game.  You will NOT be allowed to take the field without this form turned in.  The form is available on the World Series IV page under DOCUMENTS.  Again, please take your time filling this form out as we will not accept partially filled out forms.  You can scan and email the form to us or bring it with you to the coaches meetings.

The deadline for TEAM PRE-ORDERS for Official Grand Slam World Series Merchandise is WEDNESDAY, July 17.  This form is also available on the World Series IV page under DOCUMENTS.  You must scan and email the form to us prior to your arrival so we can have all of your items ready for pick up at the Coaches meetings.  You do NOT have to prepay for merchandise as you can pay when you pick it up.  This is for TEAM ORDERS ONLY, NO Individual orders.  We will have all Grand Slam official WS merchandise available at the parks all week long.  We are currently out of the bucket hats.

*  Every team must have an online roster.  Please make sure you have done this prior to the coaches meetings.  NO EXCEPTIONS!

*  Skills Competitions for World Series IV will take place from 8:00 AM-12:00 PM on Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday July 22-24 on Field #8 at Frank Brown Park.  You can sign up for a date and time slot at the coaches meetings.  This had to change based on long range whether forecasts and the USFA Softball World Series having to potentially play on the 21st due to rain.
