8-AA Pool Play & Bracket is still the same

Teams, we tried to wait out the forecast as long as possible but it, if anything, has gotten worse. 

Therefore, we made a change to tomorrow's schedule. 

Af of 5:30 p.m. the latest forecast showed Thunderstorms beginning around 5:00 p.m in the 80% range for a few hours. We do not want people in the park during this nor do we want people traveling in this. 

So, we are going to 2 pool games & the top 2 seeds will play a championship game. This puts all championship games at 3:00 except for 12-AA, it will be at 4:30, we just did not have anymore rooms to make it at 3:00. 

Please brush up on Grand Slam MS Rules & how standings & tie breakers work. 

Any division that does not finish their pool play games will not receive awards. All divisions that finish pool play will at least have seeding to go by if bracket is rained out. 

11-A & 11-AA need to check their pool play schedule, it had to change to make this work. 

Weather is an inconvenience for all involved, there is no easy fix. This is the decision we arrived upon. Thank you for understanding. 

As always, any team that does not play a 3rd game will receive a 1 game credit toward their next event.

All Central & South MS events are prepay events

Deadline to pay is Monday night March 30th

Teams who have not paid will not be included on the schedule.

9U-12U $300

There are 3 options to make your payment

Please include your team name and age division when paying

• The schedule will be released Tuesday March 31st
• A detailed email for the event will be sent on Thursday March 2nd
• There are NO SCHEDULE REQUESTS for 1 Day Events.

Reminder, it is Grand Slam MS policy that teams who drop out of an event after the schedule is released will still owe the entry fee & the team will not be scheduled in an event until that fee is paid. For special circumstances that may occur, please reach out to the Tournament Director .

Teams who decide not to play & withdraw before the schedule is released will receive a credit toward their next Grand Slam event if they have already paid their entry fee. 

In the instance that the event is canceled for any reason, teams will also receive a credit toward their next event
