Gate Information

3 Day passes are available Friday night. However, remember when you purchase this that your team could play a bracket game Saturday night & be eliminated. All gate passes are non refundable.

3 Day Passes nor Saturday arm bands will be accepted in Clinton. This is a separate event. Your 3 day pass or Saturday arm band is good for Flowood, Jackson Prep or Freedom Ridge.

Saturday Armbands nor weekend passes are accepted in Clinton Saturday. This is a separate event.

  • Event Rosters will be enforced. It's up to you to double check them & if you are having any issues you need to let us know. All players need to show on the event roster. Please do all you can to move players from pending to approved. 
  • Be prepared to play 15 minutes after previous game ends. 
  • Each team is required to provide 2 game conditioned High School quality balls for pool play. We will provide for Bracket play. We do have balls on site...$5/ball or $50/dozen
  • Gate fees are $7/daily for ages 12 & up. No two day passes.There is a 3 day pass availavle Friday night, keep in mind before purchasing this that your team could play bracket games Saturday night and be eliminated. Passes are non refundable. 
  • 13U can only use -5 or -3 bats. 
  • 14U can only use - 3 bats. 
  • 9U-12U pitching is 8 innings for the weekend. No Daily Limit     13 & 14 is 10 innings for the weekend. No daily limits. 
  •  9UR and 9UA time limit this weekend is 1:20
  • 9UR time limit is 1:20 & there is a 6 run per inning limit for pool Play. Bracket play will also be an 1:20 but no 6 run per inning will be in play for bracket. During pool play...if you are the home team and time expires and you are down by more than 6 runs or if you are the visitors and batting...you still get your time to bat because even though you can't mathematically win, any runs you score could affect pool play. If you have an issue with this on the field call for a director immediately. Do NOT leave the field. 
  • Coach Pitch time limit is 1:00
  • 9UN-12U Open is 1:30
  • 13U & 14U is 1:40
  • DO NOT let an umpire tell you they are stopping a game within 5 minutes of the time limit. Stop the plate meeting or when you are told this immediately and call for a director. 
  • Pay attention to your post game score cards before signing. Make sure the score is correct & the pitching is correct. 
  • Catchers must wear a one piece helmet. 
  • Protest fees are $300 cash up front no exceptions. You get this back for a successful protest. Protest must be done between the 1st pitch & last pitch and it is encouraged to do as early as possible if you think you will be protesting. Protest must be done during the game. 
  • Run rules are 12 after 3 - 10 after 4 - 8 after 5
  • Extra innings - Last batter from the previous inning on 2nd base with 0 outs. 
  • 2nd Extra inning - Last 3 batters from previous inning to load the bases with 1 out. 
  • 3rd to 1st pick off is legal. 
  • Head first slides are legal to any base unless a face mask is being worn. 
  • Grand Slam plays be National Federation High School rules...with the exception of rules listed here or corporate Grand Slam. State Directors have the discretion to modify corporate rules. 
  • Teams get 3 passes for coaches. Coach pitch teams get 4. Please discuss with your staff what names were submitted so there is no confusion at the gate. There will be a team list at each gate...once that team's spots are full that will be all. Coaches will receive arm bands and they must be worn for the weekend. 
  • Make checks out to "The Tournament Team" and pay your field director no later than start of 2nd pool play game. 2nd Pool Play game will NOT start until entry fee is paid. 
  • There is a director for every 4 fields. If you have an issue stop the game and call for a director. We can't help you after the game is over. 
  • Be respectful to the gate girls. 

Any pattern of badgering of an umpire, other fans, coaches, players, directors, gate workers, etc...will result in being escorted from the park by Flowood or Ridgeland PD. Coaches, if you put your hands on an umpire, you will be prosecuted & vice versa for umpires to coaches. Tournament Directors have the discretion to have anyone removed from the park. Gate fees are nonrefundable.
