THE GRAND SLAM #TPSTRONG BENEFIT FALL CLASSIC

So there is no longer any confusion, the 14's will play by NFHS rules -3 bats for this BENEFIT event this weekend!  Every 14-U team will be on an even playing field with all swinging -3.  This supercedes ANY BAT rules posted under the rules tab.

9's through 13's ONE DAY SUNDAY ONLY at Harris & Shuford Sports Complexes in LaGrange, Georgia.  14's 2-day Saturday & Sunday at Harris Sports Complex and 15/16's 2-day Saturday & Sunday at LaGrange High School.

Due to the large number of teams in the 11-Under age division, we will play 1:30 time limits throughout the day.  This is only 10-minutes shorter than our normal time limits but we wanted to let as many teams in to play as possible since this is a benefit fundraising event.  All other age divisions will play normal 1:40 & 1:50 time limits.  THERE WILL BE A TIME LIMIT in the Championship games!

Please make plans to join us for this Benefit event that will honor and benefit Coach Tommy Parks.  Coach Parks was the head football and baseball coach at Harris County High School in Hamilton, Georgia for a number of years before returning to his hometown of Thomaston, Georgia in 2014 to become the Head Football Coach at Upson-Lee High School.  Tommy suffered a massive heart attack on Friday, July 7th.  As a result of the cardiac arrest he also suffered an Anoxic Brain Injury.  He is currently being treated at the Shephard Center in Atlanta and our thoughts and prayers are with Tommy, Carmen, Carson and Hunter as he continues to fight this battle.  Doctors have advised that this is a minimum year long recovery process and maybe even longer.  The financial burdens facing this family will be huge and Grand Slam will be giving 100% of ALL money made at this event to the #TPStrong Foundation.  Tommy has been one of my best friends for many years and he and Carmen are family!  It's in times like these that the Grand Slam Family steps up to help our friends!

This event will be a 2018 Grand Slam World Series qualifier and a Double Race for the Grand Slam Cup points event.  Entry fee is $400 and admission will be $8 for adults and $6 for kids 13-17 and adults 65-older.  12-Under will be admitted free of charge.

We will award the top-2 teams in each age division with the now famous Grand Slam Bat Trophy and our one of kind Championship rings.

#TPSTRONG T-Shirts will be on sale where 100% of the money raised for the sale of the shirts also goes to the #TPSTRONG Foundation.  We will also have a silent auction going on all weekend with one of a kind autographed memorabilia from superstars of the NFL and MLB!  Again, 100% of ALL MONEY RAISED at this event will go to the #TPSTRONG foundation!
