13U and 14U at Corinth have been cancelled for the day.
After careful consideration, research and conversations with numerous people in the travel baseball industry, Grand Slam will no longer allow the Black Emerald Bat to used in a Grand Slam sanctioned event effective immediately. Player safety is paramount and from a liability standpoint as well as further information that we have gained regarding this bat, Grand Slam feels it is the best interest to no longer allow this bat to be used in competitive play in a Grand Slam sanctioned event.
This is a 1-day event.
The top two teams from pool play will advance to the Championship Game.
There will be a daily gate fee of $7/person.
The new Grand Slam rings will be awarded for the Championship Game to the Champion and Finalist.
In the event of an ejection of a player, coach, or parent, the State Director reserves the right to reinstate that individual for the next game, or games, based on the severity of the infraction.
