South MS - Big League Dreams MLB Player Ring Event

No games at 10am Sunday. We will continue to monitor the weather and make a decision within the next 2hrs on whether we will be able to play after lunch or not.

Due to the incoming weather, some times May be adjusted for Saturday. 

It is very important that you make your pool play games count, especially the first one. 

In case of a rain shortened event, please be aware of the following

• If all teams in a division do not complete their pool play games, no awards will be given & that division will be a rain out. 
• If all teams in a division do finish their pool play games, but all teams do not complete at least one bracket game, then awards will be based on pool play only. 
• If all teams in a division do finish their pool play games, & all teams finish 1 bracket game, awards will be based on the highest seeded team remaining in the event. 
• If some teams are able to play 2 pool games and some only 1, but we are able to continue Sunday, then we will seed by everyone's first pool play game. 

Any team that doesn't complete 3 games because of the rain or only playing 2 games due to format, will also receive a credit toward their next event.

Reminder, it is Grand Slam MS policy that teams who drop out of an event after the schedule is released will still owe the entry fee & the team will not be scheduled in an event until that fee is paid. For special circumstances that may occur, please reach out to the Tournament Director .

Teams who decide not to play & withdraw before the schedule is released will receive a credit toward their next Grand Slam event if they have already paid their entry fee. 

In the instance that the event is canceled for any reason, teams will also receive a credit toward their next event
