CONDUCT
Coaches, if we have to remove one of your fans from the complex, the head coach will also be ejected for that game. Fan will not be allowed to return for that event.
Any pattern of badgering of an umpire, other fans, coaches, players, directors, gate workers, etc...will result in being escorted from the park by the local PD. Coaches/Spectators, if you put your hands on an umpire/tournament staff, you will be prosecuted & vice versa for umpires/tournament staff to coaches/spectators. Tournament Directors have the discretion to have anyone removed from the park.

Any patron that uses profanity toward a gate worker or enters without paying will be removed from the park by the local PD.

Coaches must check in at the gate using their gate pass. If you do not have your gate pass you will need to pay.
Armbands must be shown to re-enter the complex
Protest fees are $300 - No exceptions.
For protest of players not on the roster or illegal age or any other player eligibility question, the protest must be initiated from the 1st pitch of the game to before the 1st pitch of the 2nd at bat of the player who is being protested. Once a player has had 1 pitch thrown to him of his second at bat, he is no longer eligible to be protested.
Any other protest that isn't a player eligible protest, must be done between the first pitch of the game and end of the game(unless the last out of the game causes a protestable situation,in this case the coach who wants to protest must call it to the umpires attention before they leave the field). You get the $300 back for a successful protest.
We will provide baseballs for each game. However, teams need to be prepared to throw in game balls if the umpire runs out until we get more. Also, teams are responsible for retrieving foul balls & returning them to the field.
Pay attention to your post game score cards before signing. When you sign you are approving the score and all pitching records.

Thank you for choosing to play Grand Slam
Friday 12:00 p.m.
Coaches & Parents, we hope that as you continue your journey with Grand Slam that you will learn that we try our best to be proactive & give you the best opportunity to play when we are facing weather issues. Those of you who have played with us for years know this already.
Sometimes this demands some creativity on our part.
Our #1 objective this weekend is to try our best to get everyone out of the park in time to get on the road and travel safely before strong weather comes in.
Based on the forecast as of 12 p.m on Friday, that could be anywhere between 4-7 p.m. We all know it may start raining tomorrow at 9 a.m and rain all day or it could not rain at all Saturday.
All we can go on is the info we have in front of us.
All that being said, in order to accomplish this objective this Saturday, we are changing the format.
Coach Pitch will play as scheduled
Kid pitch divisions with even number of teams will play 1 pool game into single elimination.
We understand this isn't the norm & it's not the format we do week in & week out, but it's the best option Saturday.
In case of a rain shortened event, please be aware of the following
Any team that doesn't complete 3 games because of the rain or only playing 2 games due to format, will also receive a credit toward their next event.
The new schedule will be posted by 2:00.
Thank you for understanding.
Wednesday at 3:45 p.m.
We are monitoring the forecast for this Saturday's event. This is not a "move it to another location" type of forecast. It won't matter if it's dirt or turf if this forecast holds true.
We are not going to put families in danger by asking them to travel in bad conditions, pay to get in a gate to sit through delay after delay then just to cancel.
That being said, we won't make any decision on this event until Friday around noon. We all know how MS weather can change, so here is to hoping change happens.
We will reach out Friday around noon with a final decision on this event. If we see any opportunity to be able to start & finish, that's what we will do.
Thank you.
