Weather Update

Teams, we are once again facing a potential weather issue Saturday night.

We will wait out the rain for a certain amount of time, but we won't let that wait linger & linger. We will do our best to get the all games in if weather and fields will allow in a decent time frame.

All that being said, MAKE YOUR POOL PLAY GAMES COUNT!

Please remember, weather is the one of the things we can't control & when we make decisions in real time, it's based on the info we have at the time. But we do owe it to all teams every effort to play it out.

So again, make your pool play games count on Saturday!

All Central MS events are prepay events

Deadline to pay is Monday, April 13th by the end of the day.

Teams who have not paid will not be included on the schedule.

Reminder, it is Grand Slam MS policy that teams who drop out of an event after the schedule is released will still owe the entry fee & the team will not be scheduled in an event until that fee is paid. For special circumstances that may occur, please reach out to the Tournament Director .

Teams who decide not to play & withdraw before the schedule is released will receive a credit toward their next Grand Slam event if they have already paid their entry fee. 

In the instance that the event is canceled for any reason, teams will also receive a credit toward their next event 






Rules of note...

  • Only top 4 will play in championship bracket
  • Divisions with more than 4 teams will have a consolation game or bracket. Make your pool play games count. 
  • Divisions will be deleted that do not have 3 or more teams registered if field space becomes limited. 
  • Teams will be responsible for providing baseballs for pool play
  • Time limit for ages 9-12 will be 1:10
  • 6 inning limit for pitching
  • No schedule request, all teams will need to be ready to play their first game by lunch on Saturday
  • 1st & 2nd place will receive custom rings
  • Teams who play in 3 Saturday Slam events will qualify for 30% discount in the Saturday Slam Championship June 13th. 
  • Teams who win a Saturday Slam event will qualify for 50% discount in the Saturday Slam Championship June 13th.
